CONSTITUTION: A buffer group 7 including a voice buffer, an image buffer, a sequencer (MIDI) data buffer, etc., are provided, and a DMA controller 8 controls the reading/writing operations of the group 7. Then the data are transferred between the group 7 and an audio I/O 9, a MIDI I/O 10, and an image I/O 11 with no intervention of a hard disk 12. Then the recording and reproducing operations can be simultaneously and selectively carried out in regard of 'audio', 'MIDI' and 'video'. Thus the recording and reproducing operations are attained in a simple constitution where the improvement of the access rate is not required for the disk 12 and in a form where plural types of multi- medium data are integrated. Furthermore the editing efficiency is improved.
