专利汇可以提供Easel illumination monitor and method专利检索,专利查询,专利分析的服务。并且An easel illumination monitor includes a pair of lenses, through a first of which light passing through a negative transparency is directed onto the reproduction paper, and through the second of which a proportional amount of light is directed to a photoelectric receptor and measured by a meter. The proportional amount of light is transmitted to the second lens by a light conducting and transmitting material, such as optic fibers, which extends from the lamp reflector housing to the second lens. The diaphragm for each of the first and second lenses is adjusted concurrently. The light meter reading is recorded for the best of a group of smaller prints; then the same light meter reading is duplicated in making a much larger print, after the distance of the first lens from the photographic paper has been determined, with concurrent adjustment of the two lens diaphragms. Thus, the same intensity of light will be utilized in making the larger print as when the best smaller print was made. Concurrent adjustment of the two lens diaphragms is made by a single knob which moves a rack engaging a gear for both of the lens diaphragms, or by a knob which turns a flexible shaft having a worm at each end for concurrently turning a worm gear at each diaphragm.,下面是Easel illumination monitor and method专利的具体信息内容。

1. A projection printer apparatus comprising a light source, first and second projection lenses spaced from said light source and from one another, a transparency interposed between said first lens and said light source, means for focusing said first and second lenses, an easel underlying and spaced from said first lens, a first and second diaphragm means for controlling the intensity of light transmitted through said first and second lenses; a light sensor means spaced from said second lens; means forming a light passageway for transferring a sample of light from said light source to said second lens wherein the transferred light is of the same relative intensity and relative color components as said light source; means by which said first and second diaphragms are concurrently adjusted relative to one another to cause a proportional amount of light to pass through said first and second lenses; said first lens being spaced from said easel an amount which is equal to the distance from said sensor to said second lens; said first and second lenses being optically and mechanically alike; means by which said first and second diaphragms pass the same relative amount of light when adjusted from minimum to maximum aperture; so that a first photographic print can be made by placing photosensitive paper on the easel and the image from said transparency transferred thereto, with the intensity of light being ascertained by the sensor, and thereafter a second photographic print of any size can be made which is identical in exposure light to the first photographic print by adjusting the sensor to the same light intensity observed during making the first photographic print.
2. The apparatus of claim 1 wherein there is further included mounting means for said first and second lenses, for adjusting said first and second lenses simultaneously toward and away from said easel.
3. The apparatus of claim 2 wherein said mount means maintains substantially equal the distance between said first lens and said easel and the distance between said second lens and a light sensitive part of said light responsive device.
4. The apparatus of claim 1 wherein said means forming a light passageway includes a plurality of light transmitting fibers extending from said light source to said second lens and arranged so that the transmitted light passes through said second lens.
5. In a projection printer apparatus having a light source, a projection lens, a diaphragm adjustable between minimum and maximum aperture, and an easel, all arranged relative to one another so that photosensitive material can be placed on the easel, a negative can be interposed between the lens and the easel, and the lens focused to reproduce any image from the negative, the improvement comprising: monitor apparatus for determining the proper amount of light to use for making a photographic enlargement from a negative, said apparatus including a monitor lens and a monitor diaphragm with the diaphragm being adjustable between minimum and maximum aperture for controlling the amount of light passing through said monitor lens; means forming a light passageway for transferring a sample of light from said light source to said monitor lens with the light being the same relative intensity and color components as said light source; a light sensor means for measuring the intensity of the sample of light; means jointly adjusting said monitor diaphragm and the diaphragm of the projection printer so that the last two recited diaphragms are always at the same relative aperture; means for maintaining the distance from said sensor to said monitor lens equal to the distance from the printer lens to the easel; said monitor lens being optically identical to the printing lens; so that the easel illumination required for a photographic print to be made from a negative can be duplicated when making various different size prints from the same negative.
6. The apparatus of claim 5 wherein there is further included mounting means for said first and second lenses, for adjusting said first and second lenses simultaneously toward and away from said easel.
7. The apparatus of claim 6 wherein said mounting means maintains substantially equal the distance between said first lens and said easel and the distance between said second lens and said light responsive device.
8. The apparatus of claim 5 wherein said light source includes a lamphouse, and said means forming a light passageway includes a plurality of light transmitting fibers extending from the interior of said lamphouse to said second lens and arranged so that the transmitted light passes through said second lens.
9. A projection printer apparatus for making a photographic enlargement from a negative including a lens, an adjustable diaphragm, and a light source in combination with a monitor device for adjusting the easel illumination, said monitor device comprising: a lens, a diaphragm, a light passageway, means for focusing said lens, means for changing the aperture of said diaphragm, a sensor meanS for measuring light intensity passing through said lens; means connecting together said monitor diaphragm and the diaphragm of the printer so that both diaphragms are always at the same relative aperture; means connecting together said lens and the lens of the printer so that both lenses are simultaneously focused; means by which said light passageway transfers a sample of light from the light source of the printer, through said lens, and to said sensor means; to thereby enable identical easel illumination to be attained for various size prints by maintaining a constant measured light intensity for exposure of each of the prints.
