A control part 4 retrieves Kana character information from the voice recognizing part 3 with an incorporated memory 4a and displays this information on a display device 7 as Kana characters as they are or after converting it to a signal indicating a code, a mode, a function, or the like and uses a dictionary file 6 to convert Kana characters of Kanji by a Kana-Kanji converting part 5. Homonymous Kanjis are selected by designating a number. The result is printed out by a printing part 8. Thus, the input operation is made easy.
