PROCESS: An aniline derivative, e.g. 3-[3-(2-methylcyclohexyl)propyl]aniline, of formula II is reacted with N-methoxy-N-methylcarbamyl chloride or N, N- dimethylcarbamyl chloride in an organic solvent, e.g. benzene, in the presence of a dehydrochlorinating agent, e.g. pyridine, to give the compound of formulaI. The reaction temperature is 0W150°C, and the reaction is completed for a time ranging from a moment to 10hr.
