An airport surface detection radar 6 detects the response from the airplane or vehicle running on a runway or a guide path as a radar video signal to convert the signal to the position data of a target by a target detector 7. The apparatus 8 takes the correlation due to the data 10 and a position and speed to discriminate the targets present within a definite range as the same target and applies a call sign to target data with respect to one to which flight plan data is applied by the apparatus 3 to send the data to a radar display apparatus 9 for a tower and applies a position symbol and a call sign mark to the target to display the target.
