Also, in the second tape pattern, a control track 21 is formed at the terminal part on one side in the width direction, and a guard band 22 is formed at the terminal part on the other side linearly, and a video track 23 is formed in the center part, and a new install track 27 is formed at the terminal part on the other side as the extension part of the video track 23. The interchangeability is attached between the first tape pattern and the second tape pattern. Thereby, it is possible to attain picture quality and sound quality higher than ever as keeping the interchangeability with a conventional format.
