CONSTITUTION: Two or more kinds of metal blanks color having shapes such as powder-, grain-, wire-, plate- and chip-shapes and having various tones are packed in a case of pipe made of mild steel or the like. In this case, the case such as pipe having a melting temperature higher than that of the metal blanks to be packed is used, and if necessary, a release agent is beforehand coated on its inside surface. This is evacuated by a vacuum device and is hermetically sealed, after which it is subjected to hot working such as hot rolling, hot extruding or hot drawing at a ≥30% reduction ratio, whereby the blanks are metallurgically joined to themselves. Next, the case made of mild steel is removed by pickling, polishing, grinding or the like to expose intricate working flow patterns, following to which it is subjected to satin working if necessary, whereby the composite material for decorative parts of sharp color tone contrast is produced.
