PURPOSE: To attain inexpensive communication service by discriminating whether or not a personal handyphone system(PHS) terminal is resident in a private network and connecting a caller terminal and the PHS terminal in the private network when the PHS terminal is resident so as to avoid the utility charge of a public PHS network. CONSTITUTION: When a wired terminal 8 or a member terminal 6 in a private network 1 makes a call to a visitor terminal 7, the terminal 8 or 6 dials a public PHS number of the terminal 7. A PBX 4 retrieves a position registration database 9 of the PBX 4 as to whether or not the public PHS number is a number in existence in the private network 1. When the public PHS number is in existence in the database 9, since the called terminal 7 is in existence in the private network 1, the PBX 4 makes a closing connection of the terminal 7 within the private network 1 not via the public PHS network. When the number is not in existence in the database 9, the PBX 4 makes connection to the public PHS network 3. Thus, when the visitor terminal 7 is in existence in the private network 1, since the connection is not through the public PHS network, the utility charge of the public PHS network is not required. |

An automated packaging line has capability of filling large and small orders, of one or more bottles, each bottle filled with a respective one of a plurality of different pharmaceutical tablets, in a single run. Structure is provided for filling orders for an individual consumer, for a pharmacist, and for a wholesaler, simultaneously, using differently sized bottles, and providing customized labels for each bottle. A flexible filler station simultaneously fills plural bottles with respective tablets. An intelligent data carrying puck carries each bottle, including therein information describing, among others, the bottle, the customer, the order, the pharmaceutical, the bottle size and label information. Puck handling stations (PHS) are dispersed throughout the line, to verify a number of operations implemented on the line and to reject a puck at the earliest opportunity, while permitting subsequent rejection by a subsequent PHS. The PHS units are substantially identical, with DIP switch modifying operation of the controlling software thereof to implement different features at different points on the line. The pucks are recycled after each pass along the line. An initializing PHS wipes clean the puck data storage and, in a fail safe operation, marks it as a reject. The flexible filler station must mark the puck acceptable. Each subsequent PHS, following the flexible filler station, following a capper and following a label printer, may reject the puck if marked as a reject or if failing to meet various criteria. |

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication relay method, communication relay program and communication relay apparatus for relaying communication between a calling terminal and a called terminal via a relatively most inexpensive path at, in a mobile type dual terminal which packages therein both a WLAN and a PHS. <P>SOLUTION: When a telephone call is incoming in a state where the mobile type dual terminal packaging therein both the WLAN and PHS is located within a PHS range, a call from an S-P gateway 104 to a called terminal 102 is disconnected prior to generation of a call tariff and call-back is performed from the called terminal 102 to the S-P gateway 104 via an IP network or a PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network). A calling terminal 101 that becomes a call-back destination is then specified by a SIP server 100 in place of the called terminal 102, thereby connecting the telephone call from the called terminal 102 to the calling terminal 101. In addition to the "call-back system", the invention presents four systems of "re-connect system", "re-connect+re-call system" and "re-call system". <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a 3rd party not being a caller and a called party to pay a speech charge caused when a caller subscriber making a contract for a mobile telephone or a PHS makes a telephone call, on behalf of the telephone subscriber.
SOLUTION: A telephone call transfer charging system includes a means for charging a company to which a worker belongs, a speech charge caused when the worker makes a telephone call from a mobile unit with which the worker personally makes a contract, for job use. For example, in a case where a transfer service contractor is a company where the worker works and a contractor of the mobile unit is the worker working in the company, the company, where the worker works, of the transfer service contractor registers a number of a job site in the company or a number of a client such as a transaction destination to the telephone transfer charging system of the present invention as a transfer destination telephone number, thereby enabling utilization by the worker.

In the method, the presence at the base of the apparatus is decided when the place of a measurement is kept within the range of the preset allowable error from the place of the preset base. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently measure and gather the hand-over history of slave equipment of PHS. SOLUTION: A demodulation unit 3 demodulates and supplies a signal of center frequency (f), supplied through an antenna 1 and a tuner unit 2, to a CPU 8. When a link channel establishment request is sent from the slave equipment, a base station sends a link channel allocation message or link channel allocation rejection message including the identification code PS-ID of the slave equipment as an incoming identification code in response. Each time the message is received, the CPU 8 extracts a base station identification code CS-ID, which is an outgoing identification code included in the link channel allocation message, as a hand-over destination base station identification code and a base station identification code CS-ID, which is an outgoing identification code included in the link channel allocation rejection message, as a hand-cover rejecting base station identification code, and stores those codes in a RAM 5 while making them correspond to a measurement point of time or measurement point and also displays them on a display unit 7. |

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make various kinds of applications usable by discriminating the position of each terminal based on the located results of a control center connected to a mobile telephone network. SOLUTION: A data management center 71 designates the number of a terminal to be located. Then the center 71 searches all base stations for the base station where the desired terminal is registered. When the base station is not found, the center 71 repeats the searching. When the base station is found, the center 71 stores the ID of the base station and the found date and time. Then the center 71 starts a desired application based on the stored data. When the above-mentioned procedure is applied to the search and arrest of the criminal when a PHS terminal is stolen or many terminals, the moving pattern of many persons can be recognized statistically. Therefore, it becomes possible to make advertisement or to send guards to prevent disorder at the time and location when and where many persons gather together. In addition, the procedure can also be applied to market research, etc., which is performed before a new commodity is put on the market. |
