Die Erfindung betrifft eine Lenksäule für ein Kraftfahrzeug mit einer Manteleinheit (1), in der eine Lenkspindel (2) um deren Lenkspindellängsachse (3) drehbar gelagert ist, und einer, an dem Kraftfahrzeug fixierten oder fixierbaren Konsoleneinheit (4), wobei die Manteleinheit (1) in oder an der Konsoleneinheit (4) in zumindest einer Richtung (5, 6) parallel und/oder quer zur Lenkspindellängsachse (3) verstellbar gehalten und von einem Feststellmechanismus in voneinander verschiedenen Positionen feststellbar ist und der Feststellmechanismus (7) zumindest ein um eine Feststellelementschwenkachse (14) drehbar gelagertes Feststellelement (15) aufweist, wobei die Manteleinheit (1) in zumindest einer Verriegelungsstellung des Feststellelementes (15) in ihrer Position in oder an der Konsoleneinheit (4) festgestellt ist und in zumindest einer Freigabestellung des Feststellelementes (15) die Manteleinheit (1) relativ zur Konsoleneinheit (4) in zumindest einer der Richtungen parallel und/oder quer zur Lenkspindellängsachse (3) verstellbar ist, wobei die Lenksäule zumindest einen bewegbar gelagerten und mit dem Feststellelement (15) direkt oder indirekt zusammenwirkenden Anschlagkörper (8) aufweist, welcher in der Freigabestellung des Feststellelementes (15) in einer ersten Stellung angeordnet ist, in der er die Verstellbarkeit der Manteleinheit (1) relativ zur Konsoleneinheit (4) in zumindest einer der Richtungen (5, 6) parallel und/oder quer zur Lenkspindellängsachse (3) begrenzt ist, und in der Verriegelungsstellung des Feststellelementes (15) in zumindest einer zweiten Stellung angeordnet ist, in der er ausser Eingriff mit der Manteleinheit (1) steht. Um eine Lenksäule mit einer verbesserten Anschlagvorrichtung bereitzustellen wird erfindungsgemäß vorgeschlagen, dass der Anschlagkörper (8) eine Anschlagfläche (81) aufweist, deren Abstand (s) zur Feststellelementschwenkachse (14) in der Freigabestellung größer ist, als in der Verriegelungsstellung.

A tile cutter has a base (10) over which a guide fence (11:31) is slidably adjustable, opposite ends of the guide fence having a hook (18:44) and a clamp arrangement (20-22:34, 38) respectively for locking the guide fence in an adjusted position. The clamp arrangement is operated by pivoting a locking lever (19:47) to move a member (22:43) towards wings (20, 21:35, 36) of the guide fence to clamp an upstanding grip bar (15:59) at one side of the base between the member and the wings, further pivotal movement of the locking lever clamping the hook (18:44) to a lip (12:45) at the other side of the base and placing the lever in a "locked" position. The guide fence (11) can have a channel member (23) slidable along it, a protractor member (24) being pivotally mounted on the channel member and defining a right-angled recess to locate a tile (30) to be cut by cutting means (28). The protractor member can be angularly adjusted to alter the angle of the cut through the tile on the base, and clamped in its adjusted position by a bolt (26).

A tile cutter has a base (10) over which a guide fence (11:31) is slidably adjustable, opposite ends of the guide fence having a hook (18:44) and a clamp arrangement (20-22:34, 38) respectively for locking the guide fence in an adjusted position. The protractor member can be angularly adjusted to alter the angle of the cut through the tile on the base, and clamped in its adjusted position by a bolt (26).

The Low and High Trailing Execution (LHTE) stop orders system provides a method for a user to specify multiple values to protect stock market investments. This invention allows a user to specify more than one stop loss value including the following: a. the minimum (low) stock or option price via a percentage or number, b. the maximum (high) stock or option price via a percentage or number and c. the trailing stop price via a percentage or number. These user-specified values are kept internally in the stop orders system and at the appropriate time converted to a market order. A method and a computer program for optimizing the return of an investment portfolio are disclosed. Pre-selected stocks are swapped in function of their inter-related price fluctuations. As soon as a stock rises more than say 15% compared to other stocks, half of it is sold to acquire the cheaper shares. By doing so systematically for all possible stock combinations, the number of shares increase gradually and eventually their values, as compared to a classic buy-and-hold strategy or a global index. The process includes a mechanism that creates and exploits multiple stock combinations, growing sharply with the number of stocks held. A spreadsheet traces actual share-price correlation and manages the portfolio, starting from a buy and hold strategy, applying a buy-low and sell-high tactic, and containing risk through build-in stops. Thereby an adapted stock screening program is provided, enabling to construct a diversified portfolio with correctly priced, good value stocks.
