摘要	The apparatus carries out a roughing operation on an edge of an upper (2) mounted on an insole (3) and supported on a movable last (1). The horizontal movements of the roughing brush (56) are determined beginning from a tracer (68) in contact with the edge to be roughed through a potentiometer, an electropneumatic transducer and a cylinder-piston unit, whose movable element operates the brush supporting arm.
