EMBODIMENTS OF THE INVENTION

The convertible garment, consisting of the tubular base 1, which can be formed both of sleeve fabric and of usual fabric, the edges of which are joined. As a fabric one can use woven and nonwoven material, for example, felted fabric.

The best thing for the tubular base 1 is to use machine knitted fabric like tricot fabric, which fits close and can be made of cotton, wool, mix of woolen and synthetic yarn depending on the season. Neck holes 2 of the tubular base 1 contain sealing devices 3, which provide for a change in the diameter of the neck holes 2. As such one can use, for example, laces, elastic ribbons or other tightening elements, which are usually used in the garment design for these purposes. On the side of one of the neck holes 2 of the tubular base 1 there are two conversion lines 4, which are in the form of cuts which begin from the neck hole 2.

Conversion lines 4 are arranged parallel to each other. On the side of one of the conversion line 4, the intended conversion lines 5 are in the form of slit-type cuts which are grouped in pairs, wherein the pairs are arranged parallel to one another and parallel to the axis of the conversion line 4. All of the conversion lines 4 and 5 comprise fixing elements 6 which may be studs, buttons, touch and close fasteners and other means which are used in garment designs for the purposes of connecting said elements. It is better to use zip-fasteners.

The length of the tubular base 1 shall be 20-30 cm longer than human height, that taking into account of the knitted fabric features neutralizes any inconveniences, caused by the its length during the conversion.

The proposed convertible garment is used in the following manner.

Example 1.

The initial convertible garment is a Rain Poncho, when it is used in vertical position, or sleeping bag, when it is used in horizontal position. It can be used independently or in combination with another sleeping bag, which is outside, or with blanket.

The tubular base 1 is made of sleeve fabric, made of woolen and synthetic yarn. The initial garment is easily converted into a sleeping bag. In such a case, the conversion lines 4 are on the side of the user's head, and the lower neck hole 2, created by the sealing device 3, represented by the rubber tape, which goes along the perimeter of the neck hole 2. At the discretion of user, the neck hole 2 on the side of his head can be also created by means of the sealing device 2, which is made of the rubber tape, which goes along the perimeter of the neck hole 2, and his facepiece comes in contact with the ambient environment by means of partial opening the conversion line 4, which is on the side of the face, that is provided by the partial unfastening of the fixing element 6, designed as zip-fastener. Moreover, the fixing element 6, also designed as zip-fastener, made on the opposite conversion line 4, is completely closed. If desired, user can pull out hands of the tubular base 1, having used for this purpose conversion lines 5 on the side of the head, wherefore unfastening the fixing elements 6, represented by zip-fastener, and pulling hands out of them.

Example 2.

The material of the tubular base 1, sealing device 3 and fixing elements are the same as in the example 1.

Conversion of "Rain Poncho" into "Skiff" jacket.

User opens the conversion areas 5, located on the side of the head, wherefore he unfastens the fixing elements 6, designed as zip-fasteners, pulls hands out of them, whereafter lifts the lower neck hole 2 to the level of his waist, that is fixed thereon due to the sealing device 3, made of the rubber tape. On the side of the upper neck hole 2 user partially opens conversion areas 4, and on the basis of the panels, being formed by the upper part of the tubular base 1, he creates a collar around his neck, wherefore he partially fastens the conversion lines 4 by means of the fixing elements 6.

Example 3.

Conversion of a "Skiff' into "Waistcoat".

The material of the tubular base 1, sealing device 3 and fixing elements are the same as in the example 1.

User, previously unfastens fixing elements 6 on the conversion lines 5, which are on the side of the lower neck hole 2 of the tubular base 1, then lifts the lower part of the tubular base 1, pushes his hands through the conversion lines 5, located in the lower part, whereafter he pulls the lower neck hole 2 to the level of his neck and fixes around it by means of the sealing device 3, and on the basis of the upper part of the tubular base 1 he forms a collar, or a hood, wherefore he uses the upper neck hole 2, which goes along the perimeter of the face and due to the sealing device 3, fits close the contact line. At this time the conversion lines 4 are not used and fixing elements 6 thereon are fastened.

Example 4.

Conversion of "Waistcoat" into "Pro" Jacket.

The material of the tubular base 1, sealing device 3 and fixing elements are the same as in the example 1.

User covers the head with the upper neck hole 2 in such a way, that the sealing device 3 is on his head, the side parts of the sealing device 3 are pulled back behind the neck, and tied around themselves, for example, by means of cord or another similar thing, and then he forms a collar of the lower part of sealing device 3 and tubular base 1.

Example 5.

Conversion of a "Rain Poncho" into "Kimono".

The material of the tubular base 1, sealing device 3 and fixing elements are the same as in the example 1.

For such conversion, user completely uncovers the conversion lines 4 on the side of the head, the conversion lines 4, unfastening the fixing elements 6, whereafter he pulls hands through the conversion lines 5, takes the panels, created along the conversion lines 4, forward to the chest and back to the behind, and fixes them by means of the fixing elements 6: at the front - to the neck level, at the back - to the lumbar.

Example 6.

Conversion of "Rain Poncho" into "Jumpsuit".

The material of the tubular base 1, sealing device 3 and fixing elements 6 are the same as in the example 1.

For the conversion user puts on the tubular base 1 in such a way, that conversion lines 4 will be on the side of the legs, at the same time the conversion lines 4 and upper conversion lines 5 are completely unfastened. Through the upper conversion lines 5 user pulls through his hands and on the basis of the upper part of the tubular base 1 he forms a collar or hood, using for fixation the sealing device 3 in the upper part.

Whereafter, the lower part of the tubular base 1, which looks like two panels, wraps around each leg and fixes along the conversion lines 4 by means of the fixing elements 6, convertating thus the lower part of the tubular base 1 into trousers.

Example 7.

Conversion of "Rain Poncho" into "Samurai" Pullover.

The material of the tubular base 1, sealing device 3 and fixing elements 6 are the same as in the example 1.

User uncovers the conversion lines 4 and 5, which are on the side of the lower neck hole 2, at the same time the conversion lines 5 on the side of the upper neck hole 2 are fastened. Whereafter, he pulls the lower part of the tubular base 1 to the level of his waist and fixes it by means of the sealing device 3, and the upper part of the tubular base 1 he uses in order to form a pullover neckline. At the same time, two panels of the tubular base 1, obtained when unfastening the conversion lines 4, go along each arm, whereafter they are fixed by means of the fixing elements 6, forming sleeves.

On the basis of the tubular base 1, user can form a collar instead of the neckline of pullover.

Example 8.

Conversion of "Rain Poncho" into "Beduin" Pullover.

The material of the tubular base 1, sealing device 3 and fixing elements 6 are the same as in the example 1.

User preliminary completely unfastens the conversion lines 4, pulls up the upper part of the tubular base 1, made by means of one of the panels, obtained as a result of unfastening the conversion lines 4, on his head. At the same time, the upper conversion lines 5 are behind, at the level of the neck, the back-end of the conversion line 4 is fixed by means of the fixing elements 6 on the back of the head, and at the front, by means of another panel, obtained as a result of unfastening the conversion line 4, a facepiece of a garment is formed.

Example 9.

Conversion of "Waistcoat" into "Stalker".

The material of the tubular base 1, sealing device 3 and fixing elements 6 are the same as in the example 1.

User preliminary pulls out the lower part of the tubular base 1, which in the "Waistcoat" is under the upper part of the tubular base 1, then unfastens the conversion lines 5, which are at the hemline of the tubular base 1, and imposes the lower part of the tubular base 1 over its upper part, passing hands through the unfastened conversion lines 5, and puts on the head the upper neck hole 2 of the tubular base 1, wrapping the chin around, and fixes it by means of the sealing device 3, thus, forming a hood. Whereafter, he pulls to the neck the lower neck hole 2 and forms a collar thereof, which outside wraps the hood base around.
