摘要 A semi-mounted moldboard plow connected to the draft links of a tractor by a hitch having longitudinal, upright and transverse pivotal movements with respect to the frame of the plow. The hitch is connected to a tail wheel of the plow so that the wheel turns in the direction of movement of the tractor. Each plow bottom of the plow is held in the ground working position by a hydraulic holding, release and return mechanism. Fluidly coupled with the hydraulic mechanism of each plow bottom is a fluid cylinder which yieldably holds a colter in ground working position.

1. In an implement, a frame having an elongated beam and a forwardly extended hitch bar, means having a wheel and an upright shaft connected to the wheel located adjacent one end of the beam for supporting the one end of the beam, means rotatably mounting said shaft for movement about a generally upright axis, a lateral arm secured to the shaft for rotating the shaft, lift means connecting the means rotatably mounting said shaft to said one end of the beam for changing the elevation of said beam, said lift means comprising a first upright member attached to the beam, a second upright member attached to the means rotatably mounting the shaft, a pair of generally parallel first links pivotally connected to the first upright member and the second upright member, generally upright arm means secured to one of the first links, fluid motor means including a cylinder and a piston rod operable to change the elevation of said beam, first pivot means mounting the fluid motor means on the First upright member, second pivot means connecting the fluid motor means to the arm means whereby movement of the piston rod relative to the cylinder changes the elevation of the beam, hitch means secured to the frame, said hitch means comprising a first member rotatably mounted on the hitch bar for rotation about a horizontal axis generally parallel to the hitch bar, a second member mounted on the first member, said second member being rotatable about a generally upright axis, a laterally directed bar connected to the second member, rod means connected to the laterally directed arm and laterally directed bar whereby the shaft is rotated to steer the wheel on relative movement between the hitch means and the frame about said generally upright axis, a transverse member connectable to draft links of a tractor, link means connecting the second member with the transverse member, and means to adjust the length of the link means.
2. The implement of claim 1 wherein: the means rotatably mounting said shaft comprises an upright sleeve, said shaft rotatably positioned in the sleeve and said shaft having at the lower end thereof generally horizontal axle means for the wheel.
3. The implement of claim 1 wherein: said link means includes a pair of second links connected to adjacent ends of the second member and the transverse member.
4. The implement of claim 1 wherein: the first upright member is a first upright channel and the second upright member is a second upright channel, said first and second channels having open sides facing each other and accommodating the opposite ends of the links.
5. The implement of claim 1 wherein: the first links comprise an upper link and a lower link, said arm means secured to and projected upwardly from the upper link.
6. The implement of claim 1 wherein: the first pivot means mounts the cylinder on upper portions of the first upright member, and the second pivot means connects the piston rod to the arm means.
7. The implement of claim 1 wherein: said second member comprises an upright sleeve secured to the first member and a shaft rotatably mounted in the sleeve, said bar secured to the top of the shaft rotatably mounted in the sleeve, a second bar secured to the bottom of the shaft rotatably mounted in the sleeve, said link means comprising upper and lower second links connecting the bars to the transverse member.
8. The implement of claim 7 including means rotatably connecting the links to the second bars and transverse member.
9. In an implement, a frame having an elongated beam, means having a wheel and an upright first shaft connected to the wheel located adjacent one end of the beam for supporting the one end of the beam, means rotatably mounting said first shaft for movement about a generally upright axis, a lateral arm secured to the first shaft, lift means connected to the means rotatably mounting said first shaft to said one end of the beam for changing the elevation of said beam, hitch means secured to the frame, said hitch means comprising a first member rotatably mounted on the frame for rotation about a generally horizontal axis extended generally in the direction of the movement of said implement, a second member mounted on the first member, said second member being rotatable about a generally upright axis, said second member comprises an upright sleeve secured to the first member and a second shaft rotatably mounted in said sleeve, a laterally directed first bar connected to the top of said second shaft, rod means connected to the lateral arm and laterally directed first bar, a second bar secured to the bottom of the second shaft, a transverse member connectable to the draft links of a tractor, and link means connecting the second member with the transverse member, said link means comprising upper and lower links connecting the bars to the transverse member.
10. The implement of claim 9 including: means to adjust the length of the link means.
11. The implement of claim 9 wherein: said lift means Comprises a first member attached to the beam, a second member attached to the means rotatably mounting the shaft, linkage means pivotally connected to the first member and the second member and fluid motor means connected to the linkage means operable to move said linkage means to change the elevation of the beam.
12. The implement of claim 11 wherein: the linkage means comprises a pair of generally parallel links pivotally connected at their opposite ends to the first member and second member respectively.
