| 摘要 | PURPOSE:To prevent the counter from being used illegally by providing a means which monitors the voltage at an equipment-side terminal connected to a circuit for operating the counter and a means which inhibits the specific operation of equipment according to the output of the above means. CONSTITUTION:When the counter is disconnected to a copying machine main body 1 for illegal use, the port (b) of a CPU 2 goes up to an H level after a period wherein no operation signal is outputted to the output port -b, and the output side of an open collector circuit IC1 becomes high in impedance. Consequently, 5V is developed between the minus and plus input terminals of both comparators IC2 and IC3 with the voltage of a power source V5 and both the ICs 2 and 3 generate H-level outputs. Consequently, an AND circuit AND generates an H-level output, which is supplied to the port -a of the CPU 2; and the CPU 2 detect the counter being disconnected and inhibits a signal which commands copying operation from being outputted. Consequently, the copying operation is disabled and the counter is prevented from being used illegally. | ||||||
