摘要	PURPOSE: To attain the suitable correction of astigmatism and field curvature by constituting a single focus lens having partially spherical convex and concave faces so that the refractive index is changed from the optical axis of the lens to its periphery and optical magnification is regulated only by the refractive index independently of geometric magnification. CONSTITUTION: The single focus lens for glasses has partially spherical concave and convex faces 11, 10, changes its refractive index from the optical axis X of the lens to the periphery and regulates the optical magnification only by the refractive index independently of geometric magnification. Thus, the use of the concave and convex faces 11, 10, fixed thickness and the merits of fine picture quality are suitably combined. Consequently, the single focus glasses lens allowed to be easily worked and capable of sufficiently correcting astigmatism and field curvature aberration and suitably reducing the thickness of the center part or the peripheral part is manufactured.
