摘要	PURPOSE: To block release of a breech block under firing by operating the breech block mechanically to a closing position with the energy stored in an accumulator upon action of an impact ring of a gun through a predetermined longitudinal displacement of an ammunition unit. CONSTITUTION: When a cartridge 2 is pushed into a chamber 1 in arrow direction P, a flange 3 touches an impact ring 4 movable in the axial direction and pushes an impact piston 6 while resisting against a spring 5. An accumulator piston 7 also moves to store energy at the parts 15a, 15b of a cavity 15. When the front part 8a of a breech block 8 arrives at a closing position on the outer circumference 4a of the impact ring 4 while being accelerated, a clamp/unclamp means 10 clamps the breech block 8 at the closing position in a spring 11. Barrel and breech block are retracted and decelerated upon firing and a capturing boss 14 having a piston 14a is operated with pressure in the barrel to compress the spring 11 thus shifting the breech block 8 to a release position.
