| 摘要 | The present invention relates to an extractor (70) for a firearm (10) which incorporates internal extraction to withdraw a cartridge (90) from the chamber (40) of the firearm. The extractor (70) includes an outwardly extending lip (76) for engagement in a cavity (96) defined in the rear of the cartridge (90). The cavity includes an inwardly extending flange (98) and the lip (76) of the extractor (70) is positioned behind the flange (98) during extraction and ejection. The extractor includes a first pivot point (78) about which the extractor rotates in order to allow the extractor lip (76) to enter the cartridge cavity (96). The extractor also includes a second pivot or pull point (66) about which the extractor exerts a positive rotational force to extract and eject the cartridge (90) from the chamber (40). A cartridge of the invention includes a cavity (96) at the rear end with an inwardly extending flange (98). The flange (98) includes an angled or curved edge (120). A firearm chamber (40) of the invention includes a barrel (20) with an inwardly extending angled surface (404) for engaging with a receiver (30). The receiver (30) includes an insert (406) having a forward angled portion (408) which is complementary to the inwardly angled surface (404) of the barrel (20) for mating with the barrel.
