摘要	PURPOSE: To make a plurality of stitches of different or the same kind through one time of working process by providing a plurality of mechanical operating assemblies for turning a needlebar, drive gripper and hook member with timing control, and mutually proximately arranging the plurality of assemblies so as to simultaneously make various kinds of stitches. CONSTITUTION: One gripper supporting slider 31 fixedly supports a gripper or fixed member 33 for supplying a fabric to a single or a plurality of needles, and another gripper supporting slider 32 supports a gripper or fixed member 34 for moving the fabric over a first needle assembly. Then, driving pins 42 and 42 drive the gripper supporting sliders 31 and 32, thereby making these sliders contact with the fabric to be sewn, then these sliders are moved again in falling state by the action of eccentric levers 29 and 30. Thus, since the angles of stitch lines are made different by the timing-controlled operation of a plurality of grippers, the plurality of stitch lines are simultaneously moved while mutually matching the timing.
