摘要 An electrical system for selectively energizing and deenergizing a magnetic brake associated with a loom from both a local station and a remote station regardless of the station at which the previous energization or deenergization occurred, and including a high-voltage primary circuit containing such local station for locally energizing and deenergizing the brake, and a low-voltage secondary circuit which is electrically insulated from the primary circuit and contains such remote station for remotely energizing and deenergizing the brake. A pilot circuit in the primary circuit includes pilot lamps at the local and remote stations and at the production maintenance department to indicate that the loom brake has been energized.
权利要求
1. An electrical system for selectively energizing and deenergizing an electrical device from both local and remote stations regardless of the station at which the previous energization or deenergization occurred, and wherein the improvement comprises: primary circuit means including said device, local switch means at said local station and first relay means, for selectively energizing said device from said local station upon actuation of said local switch means actuating said first relay means to complete said primary circuit means to said device and for selectively deenergizing said device from said local station upon deactuation of said local switch means deactuating said first relay means to break said primary circuit means to said device, and separate secondary circuit means electrically insulated from said primary circuit means and including remote switch means at said remote station, second relay means operatively associated with said first relay means and third relay means operatively associated with said first relay means, for selectively energizing said device from said remote station upon actuation of said remote switch means actuating said second relay means actuating said first relay means to complete said primary circuit means to said device and for selectively deenergizing said device from said remote station upon deactuation of said remote switch means deactuating said third relay means deactuating said first relay means to break said primary circuit means to said device.
2. The electrical system of claim 1 wherein said local switch means include a normally open local start switch, and said first relay means include a normally deenergized first coil in series with said local start switch and a normally open first armature switch coupled across said local start switch, whereupon closing of said local start switch energizes said first coil which closes said first armature switch to maintain said first coil energized upon release of said local start switch.
3. The electrical system of claim 2 wherein said local switch means include a normally closed local stop switch in series with said first coil, whereupon opening of said local stop switch following release of said local start switch deenergizes said first coil which opens said first armature switch.
4. The electrical system of claim 1 wherein said remote switch means include a normally open remote start switch, said second relay means include a normally deenergized second coil in series with said remote start switch and a normally open second armature switch, and said first relay means include a normally deenergized first coil in series with said normally open second armature switch and a normally open first armature switch coupled across said second armature switch, whereupon closing of said remote start switch energizes said second coil which closes said second armature switch energizing said first coil which closes said first armature switch to maintain said first coil energized upon release of said remote start switch.
5. The electrical system of claim 4 wherein said remote switch means include a normally closed remote stop switch in parallel with said remote start switch and said third relay means include a normally energized third coil in series with said remote stop switch and a normally closed third armature switch in series with said first coil, whereupon opening of said remote stop switch following release of said remote start switch deenergizes said third coil whIch opens said third armature switch deenergizes first coil which opens said first armature switch.
6. The electrical system of claim 1 wherein said local switch means include a normally open local start switch, said first relay means include a normally deenergized first coil in series with said local start switch and a normally open first armature switch coupled across said local start switch, whereupon closing of said local start switch energizes said first coil which closes said first armature switch to maintain said first coil energized upon release of said local start switch, said remote switch means include a normally open remote start switch, and said second relay means include a normally deenergized second coil in series with said remote start switch and a normally open second armature switch coupled across said local start switch, whereupon closing of said remote start switch energizes said second coil which closes said second armature switch energizing said first coil which closes said first armature switch to maintain said first coil energized following release of said remote start switch.
7. The electrical system of claim 6 wherein said local switch means include a normally closed local stop switch in series with said first coil, whereupon opening of said local stop switch following release of said local or remote start switch deenergizes said first coil which opens said first armature switch, said remote switch means include a normally closed remote stop switch in parallel with said remote start switch, and said third relay means include a normally energized third coil in series with said remote stop switch and a normally closed third armature switch in series with said first coil, whereupon opening of said remote stop switch following release of said local or remote start switch deenergizes said third coil which opens said third armature switch deenergizing said first coil which opens said first armature switch.
8. The electrical system of claim 7 wherein said primary circuit means include a local pilot lamp at said local station and a remote pilot lamp at said remote station, each being ignited upon closing of said local or remote start switch to indicate energization of said device.
9. The electrical system of claim 8 wherein said device comprises a magnetic loom brake, said primary circuit means include a voltage source capable of energizing said brake, and said secondary circuit means include a separate normal telephone voltage source.
