| 摘要 | PURPOSE:After a continuous yarn is made into an apparently incontinuous yarn, the yarn is fed to a nipping roller to which a liquid is applied on its surface to ensue the yarn feed to the nipping roller even with a small amount of air feed and avoid fluffs from flying around. CONSTITUTION:A liquid is applied to the nipping roller 1 on its surface, e.g., by dropping it. Then, a substantially continuous yarn such as a filament yarn or a roving of staple fibers Y3 is fed so that the top end contacts with the surface of the nipping roller 1' along the rotation direction of the nipping roller 1', usually by the action of air-feeding nozzle 8. Thus, staple fibers or fiber groups isolated from the yarn Y3 are ensured to be fed to the nipping part of the nipping rollers 1, 1' by the stickiness of the liquid. The liquid is preferably water, from view points of handleability and price. | ||||||
