US11697152B2 Vitriforming—a method for forming material at liquid temperature within a vitreous forming medium
Vitriforming is a method for forming material into complex geometries within a vitreous substance. Liquid material is formed inside the vitreous substance through external forces applied to the vitreous forming medium. This technique can be broken down into four categories of operations: encasement, setup, forming, and extraction. All operations involve a forming medium, and a workpiece. The workpiece can be composed of any material so long as the forming medium is temperature, viscosity, and chemically compatible. The vitreous forming medium translates outside forces into the workpiece to create various geometries. This forming medium can remain a part of the final assembly or get extracted after forming takes place. Workpiece geometry is affected by forming tool geometry, initial setup, heat, and material properties. This process can be used as a fast, efficient means of forming metal or other materials with unique abilities to control material combinations, surface chemistry, texture, and overall geometry.

US11697125B2 Scanning opposed migration aerosol classifier
An opposed migration classifier classifies particles suspended in a sample fluid that are passed through a classification channel defined by two permeable walls. Sample flow distribution input and output channels are located asymmetrically with respect to a center of the classification channel such that trajectories of the one or more particles in the sample fluid deviate from constant voltage operation trajectories. A cross-flow fluid enters the classification channel through a permeable wall and exits through the other permeable wall. An imposed field, created by a time varying filed imposed in a direction normal to the permeable walls, causes the particles to migrate in a direction opposite to that of the cross-flow fluid, such that the particles travel between the permeable walls. The particles in the sample are classified based on their mobility. The sample fluid enters and exists through or within a threshold distance of the permeable walls.

US11696530B2 Header height control system accounting for change in header pitch
A method of height control of a machine attachment during operation at different fore-and-aft pitch angles. A height controller receives a first signal magnitude generated by a height sensor disposed on the machine attachment. The first signal magnitude is relative to a first height of the machine attachment disposed at a first pitch angle. The angular degree change is determined when the machine attachment is moved from the first pitch angle to a second pitch angle. A corrected signal magnitude is determined by applying a correction factor to the first signal magnitude. The correction factor is a product of said angular degree change and a scale factor.
US11696526B2 Autonomous mower with adjustable cutting height
An autonomous vehicle (e.g., mower) includes two or more wheels supporting a chassis upon a ground surface. A cutting motor powers at least one cutting blade, and a cutting frame supports the cutting motor relative to the chassis. The cutting frame is movable, relative to the chassis, to allow adjustment of a height-of-cut of the cutting blade relative to the ground surface. First and second guide rods are operatively attached to the chassis and are received within corresponding first and second apertures of the cutting frame to guide movement of the cutting frame. Biased bearings associated with the cutting frame may bias associated bearing members against the guide rods.
