CONSTITUTION: A second evaporator 14 is additionally provided to a cold heat generating device 1 so as to provide an ice making vessel 15 to manufacture ice slurry and a separating tank 17, which separates ice from ice slurry by means of an air agitator driven by an air pump 16. In addition, a take-out passage 18, in which a pump 18a to feed the ice slurry from the ice making vessel 15 to the separating tank 17 is equipped, and a brine recovery passage 19, in which is pump 19a to feed the brine in the separating tank 17 to the ice making vessel 15 as the water for making ice is equipped,are provided. Further, a supplying passage 20, in which a pump 20a to supply the ice slurry in the separating tank 17 to a heat accumulator 5 is equipped, and a cushioning tank 21, which takes excess brine produced by the supplying of the ice slurry to the brine by means of a cooling means 6 but of a brine return passage 12 so as to conserve as the water for making ice. In other words, the heat accumulator 5 is so constituted as to conserve not cold water but ice slurry in order to store cold heat.
