CONSTITUTION: Malodorous gas containing H

The waste fluid 1a is admitted into an aeration tank 2 because it has still the odor, a pump 4 is driven by means of a pH controller 3 to add sulfuric acid in a tank 5a, and the pH of the waste fluid is adjusted at 6.5W7.5. The mixed gas 7c of air 7b staying in a discharged fluid storage tank 14 and air 7c containing SO
2 is blown in as small bubbles 7d with approximate 2% oxygen content or more from an air dispersing pipe 8 of the aeration tank 2 by means of an air pump 6. The SO
2 in the bubbles 7d is dissolved into the waste fluid 1b by the aeration. One portion of a sulfide in the waste fluid is changed into H
2 S and mixed into exhaust 7e, mists are removed by means of a demister 9, the exhaust is heated by means of a heating furnace 10, and the H
2 S is decomposed into SO
2 and water. The SO
2 and the water are cooled by means of a heat exchanger 11, SO
2 is removed by means of an alkali washing tower 13, and the air is discharged as purified air 7h.
