CONSTITUTION: An optical tape core 5 formed by arraying optical fiber cores in a plane and coating them with a protection layer is supplied from a bobbin 12 and guided to a waterproof admixture charging device 7 which contains the waterproof admixture to coat the entire surface of the tape with the waterproof admixture 8. Then, respective optical tape cores 5 are laminated by a batten plate 14, pressed by a press winding device 15 and taped when necessary, and provided with an external sheath by an extrusion coating device 17 and taken up while aligned lengthwise by a metallic tape lengthwise aligning device 16.
