CONSTITUTION: A carton 2 came after its transfer stops by colliding with a positioning stopper 14, then, a robot 4 measures the distance from the stopper 14 to the carton 2 based on a pre input work data size, moving a carton hand 6 to a carton takeoff position 7 based on the measured value thereof and arranging the fork 6b thereof with its adjoining horizontally to the roller 3a side end. Thereafter, the robot 4 outputs a carton delivery command to a positioning conveyer 3. When the carton delivery command is output to the positioning conveyor 3, an extrusion cylinder 10 is operated to transfer the carton 2 to the fork 6b from the roller 3a and the carton 2 center is supported.
