CONSTITUTION: Hollow long and short pointers 17, 13 are formed and a drive mechanism is built in the tail end of the long pointer 17. The rotation of the long pointer shaft 14 accompanying the rotation of the long pointer 17 is transmitted to a short pointer shaft 9 through a reduction gear 41 and speed reduction timing belt 42 to rotate the short pointer 13 with the rate of one revolution per 12 hours relative to the shaft 7. Also a motor 51 provided near the center of rotation in the long pointer 17 is connected to the lower end of a second pointer shaft 18 through a speed reduction belt 50 to rotate a second pointer 21 with the rate of one revolution per one minute relative to the shaft 7. Time is indicated by the movement of respective pointers 13, 17 and 21 and letters indicated therewith.
