Then by a 1st division means 13, the signal is divided with a cryptographic polynomial G(x) signal to apply a 2nd cryptographic processing, and the result is sent as the (k-2)th order cryptographic polynomial I(x) signal representing the cryptographic polynomial I(x) being the sum of the (k-m-1)th order quotient polynomial Q(x) and the (m-1)th order of residue polynomial R(x). Then a receiver 20 applies decoding in the reverse procedure as that of a sender 10. Thus, the cryptographic processing with high security is attained and so long as two kinds of functions cryptographic polynomials E(x) and G(x) are not known, the decoding of the signal is impossible thereby enhancing the security.
