| 摘要 | PURPOSE: The titled improving agent, containing an extract of crude drugs consisting of Astragali Radix, Cinnamomi Cortex, Rehmanniae Radix, etc. with water or an aqueous solvent as an active constituent, and capable of inhibiting the lipolytic action of cancerous toxins (toxohormone L) having the lipolytic action. CONSTITUTION: An improving agent for cancerous symptoms prepared by extracting one or two or more crude drugs selected from Astragali Radix, Cinnamomi Cortex, Rehmaniae Radix, Poeny root, Cnidium, Atractylodes, Japanese angelica root, Ginseng, Hoelen and Licorice with water or an aqueous solvent, e.g. aqueous ethanol, filtering the resultant extract solution, drying the resultant filtrate by spray sdrying, freeze-drying, etc., and using the resultant powder directly or adding an excipient, assistant thereto, formulating the resultant mixture into a dosage form of a powder, granule, tablet, capsule, etc. The resultant improving agent is capable of improving the lipid metabolism and asitia of patients with cancers.
