2 Agricultural tillage equipment US745301 1976-11-26 US4116283A 1978-09-26 John B. Blessent
An agricultural implement support with dual three-point hitch capabilities for supporting a combination of two different implements from a single frame controllable by a three-point hitch lifting attachment on a farm tractor. The hitch provides for the pulling of two implements simultaneously through a field to cut down expense, while providing complete operator control over lifting both implements with tractor power lift and adjusting depth of both implements relative to the tractor and to each other.

13 Custom assembled equipment for landscaping US419074 1995-04-10 US5520253A 1996-05-28 Lawrence W. Kesting
A method employing a basic structure and a collection of components to improve efficiency in caring for laws and gardens. The basic structure comprises a single engine, speed reducer, and transmission mounted on a frame with handle bars and controls. The components make up a collection of tines, wheels, blades, rollers, plows, racks and mounting parts. The operator mounts selected components on the basic structure to create a custom ramification for accomplishing a specific task. The specification describes eighteen applications. Eight apply to common tasks of tilling, grading, removing snow, shredding, edging and mowing. The ten remaining apply to new methods for wet lands tilling, hard ground tilling, rolling, aerating, dethatching, scooping, lifting, cross country transporting, and automatic mixing and separating. A primary advantage of the method lies in a consolidation that reduces costs for capital outlay, maintenance, storage, and transportation of walk behind equipment. A secondary advantage exists in a power take-off and mounting base for pumps, blowers, and generators to operate log splitters, yard vacuums, chemical sprayers, recreational gear, and fire fighting equipment.
14 Agricultural fertilizer applicator including self-leveling wagon hitch US907836 1992-07-02 US5343958A 1994-09-06 Gaylen Kromminga; William J. Dietrich, Sr.; Dean Knobloch
An agricultural implement designed for distributing anhydrous ammonia by laterally spaced applicator knives includes an elongated wagon hitch frame which has a forward end pivotally mounted to a forward section of the implement frame and a rear end which carries a drawbar and hitch clevis for a trailing wagon carrying a tank of anhydrous ammonia. As the implement is raised, the rear end of the wagon hitch frame drops away from the implement frame so that the height of the wagon hitch above the ground remains substantially constant and the implement hitch section and wagon tongue remain in line. The break-away coupler for the main hose from the anhydrous tank to the implement is provided with a swing arm to facilitate disconnection of the main hose even when the anhydrous wagon is sharply angled. In the case of a larger implement, having right and left pivoting wings, the frames of the wing sections are strengthened with efficient use of upper and lower laterally spaced channel stiffeners.

A first farm implement having a front three-point hitch connection for mounting on a tractor is equipped with a rear three-point hitch means for connection with a front three-point hitch means on a second farm implement so that both farm implements can be lifted and towed in tandem fashion, or each implement can be individually lifted or towed by a single tractor. The first implement includes an elongated transverse tool bar which carries the respective connections of both the front and rear three-point hitch means therefor in alignment longitudinally of the tractor.
16 Convertible agricultural implements and machines US450670 1974-03-13 US3931859A 1976-01-13 Cornelis van der Lely
An agricultural implement is convertible from a soil tilling cultivator having a row of detachable soil working members having rotatable supports by removing some or all of the soil working tools and attaching mowing or cutting tools having one or more horizontally extending blades, to only some of the rotatable supports, at spaced apart intervals along the row. The bladed tools have detachable carriers and each of the tools has at least one group of blades with leading edges that are rotated in circular paths which overlap the paths of those blades on adjacent tools. The rotary tools can have spaced apart groups of blades at different vertical levels and guide surfaces or further cutting or mowing elements mounted between adjacent tools. Also, the bladed tools can be fastened to alternate supports or every third support to rotate in the same or opposite directions from adjacent bladed tools.
17 Earth working and planting apparatus and method of planting seed US3664279D 1970-03-04 US3664279A 1972-05-23 BELDEN REX
An earth working and planting apparatus and method wherein an earth working and planting apparatus is mounted on a frame moved by a prime mover. The frame has one or more laterally spaced furrow making apparatus and each has double moldboard lister with a double share bottom positioned at the forward end of the frame for opening a main furrow and forming ridges on each side thereof. A shovel or subsoiler is positioned rearwardly of the lister for opening a narrow fertilizer trench within the main furrow to receive fertilizer from a fertilizer distributor having an open end aligned with the fertilizer trench. A plurality of spaced tines are positioned rearwardly of the shovel to mix soil and fertilizer, fill the fertilizer trench, and increase the tilth of the fertilizer trench. A seed furrow is opened adjacent each opposite edge of the main furrow by a pair of shovels having forwardly curved and pointed lower ends. The seed furrows receive seed from a dispensing shoe directing seed in a wide random pattern into the respective seed furrow and the main furrow is widened by a concave disc engaging each side of the main furrow. A drag is mounted on a rear end of the frame and is positioned to pack the soil moved into the widened furrow to firmly cover the seed in each of the seed furrows within the main furrow.
