This impregnant is suitable for use as an impregnant 4 which is put into a gap between a cable 1 composed of numbers of plated strands 2 and a covering tube 3, and the resulting coated cable A has excellent strength, durability, etc. and is suitable for use as a cable for a cable-stayed bridge.
