CONSTITUTION: A substractor 18 is provided between an alarm counter 12 which which performs setting of the alarm time and coincidence detection circuits 26, 31 which compare tha alarm time signal and basic time signal. Further a ring counter 37 is provided between a waveform modulation circuit 38 which generates the alarm signal by synthesizing an arbitrary signal from a frequency dividing circuit 3 and he coincidence detection circuits 26, 31. The time having been set in a memory circuit 17 by an alarm preliminary announcement time setting circuit 16 is subtracted vai the subtractor 18 from the alarm generating time having been stored in the alarm time counter 12. The modulation circuit 38 changes the signal being outputted in an alarm sound producer 39 depending upon the count centents of the ring counter 37, thereby causing the change in sound volume to be performed.
