CONSTITUTION: U-shaped realized headers 3 and 4 are comprised of an arcular part 13 and two straight line parts 14 and they can easily be formed by heating and bending one steel pipe. Due to this shape, no corner having surfaces crossed at a right angle is generated, so that a gas leakage is not generated from the corner part and its machining may easily be carried out. A front wall 6 having a fuel supplying means is connected to an opening of a furnace 15. Combustion gas passes through smoke tubes 16 of a smoke tube boiler, absorbs heat effectively with the smoke tubes, then passes through a gas discharging duct 17 and is discharged. The boiler manufactured at a factory can be divided into a smoke tube boiler, a U-shaped furnace and a front wall and transported. A small-sized boiler can be transported as an assembled boiler and can reduce a period required for performing an installation at site. The water pipe wall at a rear part of the furnace is enclosed by a plate- like covering 22a to form the third air chamber 22 and the third air is supplied from a nozzle 23.
