The microorganism is propagated in the porous inner pipes 5, and the metabolite is diffused through the porous inner wall to the inside of the outer pipes 3. Occasionally the pressure of the nutritive solution in the outer pipes 3 is raised or the pressure of the culture solution in the inner pipes 5 is lowered, so that the liquid are transferred through the porous membrane by force, to prevent the clogging.
