The waste water is then admitted into the 2nd bioreactor 13 which immobilizes the activated sludge by using the carrier and is provided with a facility to supply the oxygen-contg. gas of various concns. The liquid is circulated to the bioreactor 12 from the bioreactor 13. As a result, the denitrification reaction and nitrification reaction are executable respective under the optimum conditions.
