CONSTITUTION: A unit 6 of separation and concentration membrane, consisting of tube-shaped separation and concentration membranes being closed at the ends and inserted respectively into permeable pores formed in zigzag on a support plate and a permeated liquid chamber formed with a top plate and a side plate on said support plate, is inserted in openings formed at an equal interval on a pressure vessel 2, and said membrane is crossed against the flow of raw water in the pressure vessel 2. Then, raw water from an aeration tank 7 is flowed into a flow inlet 3 to a flow outlet of the pressure vessel 2 through a tube line 8 by a pump 9 and raw water at the outside of respective membrane is separated from activated sludge by said membrane, and permeated liquid permeable membrane flows inside the membrane to a flow out tube 14 to be stored in a storage tank 15. The concentrated liquid of activated sludge returns to the aeration tank 7 through the tube line 8.
