The pickled onions are then taken out of the container and dried in the sun for, e.g. 5W8hr, and then the onions and a mixture of 1kg SAKE lees with 0.05W0.1kg medium crude granulat ed sugar are alternately put in another container and pickled for 6 months W 2 years so as not to expose the onions on the top surface.
