CONSTITUTION: One or more slightly water-soluble or water-insoluble solid raw substances of agriculatural chemical [e.g., CAT(simazine)2-chloro 4,6-bis(ethylamino)-1,3,5-triazine, etc.] are blended with a surface active agent, a weighting agent of finely divided mineral powder, and 0.3W4wt% based on total wettable powder of water and ground to give a wettable powder for agriculture and gardening. Since a small amount of water is added, the ingredients are not made into a slurry. The material obtained after dry grinding is directly used as a product so that drying process is not required. The amount of the surface active agent is ≤1/3 that of the conventional method and the size of packing container is economically miniaturized by ≥20%.
