For a slow-path operation, the electronic device services the request at least partially via the software executed by the electronic device.

If not, configuration parameters are requested from a parameter server accessible for the operating cellular network. The device receives said configuration parameters from said parameter server, and stores at least a portion of received configuration parameters in said first memory block of the identification unit. If the configuration parameters are available, the device applies said configuration parameters, and sets up a voice call using said configuration parameters.

- applying said configuration parameter to the wireless device,

- setting up a voice call using said configuration parameter.

The first HLR(30), receiving the first routing information request data, checks the IMSI and a subscriber state through the received data. At this moment, the first HLR(30) judges whether a call forwarding service has been established in subscriber information. In case that the call forwarding service has been established, the first HLR(30) transmits the first routing information data to the GGSN(50) with forwarding data.

If identification information in the data burst message is for the data busy call standby service(S206,S207), the MS executes a pop-up and displays a pop-up menu capable of selecting voice call termination approval or termination disapproval(S208). If the subscriber selects the voice termination approval through the pop-up menu(S209), the MS inserts voice termination approval identification information into the data burst message and transmits the data burst message to the BTS/MSC through a traffic channel(S210). The MSC/BTS confirms identification information of the data burst message received from the MS(S212), and performs a resource release procedure with respect to an old data call and a voice call termination processing procedure(S213,S215,S216).
