CONSTITUTION: An inner pipe 2 is loosely fitted in an outer pipe 1. When a high-frequency current is caused to flow through the series-connected circuit, a current concentrates on the surface of the outer pipe 1 due to the skin effect so that the outer pipe is heated and expanded. Both the ends of the inner pipe 2 are closed with plugs 5. Water is injected into the interior 4 of the inner pipe 2 to pressurize the interior by the water to expand the pipe. The outer pipe 1 is spontaneously cooled so that it contracts and its diameter decreases. Since the inner pipe 2 is expanded and the outer pipe 1 contracts, the inner pipe 2 is tightly fitted on the inside of the outer pipe 1. Both the pipes 1, 2 are thus surely conjoined to each other along their total length.
